Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing use of the Audelo platform, including all AI voice agent features, APIs, dashboards, and telephony integrations (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Audelo Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Service you agree to this AUP. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and, where required, referral to the relevant authorities.
1. Permitted Uses
The Service is designed for legitimate business voice-agent use cases, including:
- Inbound and outbound customer service calls on behalf of your business.
- Appointment scheduling, booking confirmations, and follow-up reminders.
- Lead qualification, surveys, and customer feedback collection.
- Internal helpdesk and staff-support automation.
- Integration with your existing CRM, calendar, and business tools via our API.
- Synthetic testing of agent behaviour using the built-in call simulation feature.
2. Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Service to:
2.1 Illegal or harmful activity
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or government order in any jurisdiction where calls are made or received.
- Make calls that are prohibited under telemarketing, spam, or do-not-call legislation (including the Spam Act 2003 (AU), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (US), the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (UK/EU), or equivalent).
- Transmit or solicit material that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or harassing.
- Engage in fraud, identity theft, phishing, or any deceptive practice.
- Facilitate or promote illegal activity, including unlicensed financial advice, gambling, or drug supply.
2.2 Harmful or abusive AI behaviour
- Configure agents to impersonate government agencies, emergency services, or regulated professionals (e.g. lawyers, doctors) without the appropriate disclosures and licences.
- Configure agents to make false or misleading statements, including fabricated product claims or counterfeit testimonials.
- Use agents to pressure, manipulate, or coerce callers using deceptive techniques.
- Deploy agents against vulnerable populations (including minors) for exploitative purposes.
2.3 Recording and consent violations
- Record calls without obtaining all legally required consents for the jurisdiction(s) involved.
- Store, process, or transfer recordings in a manner that violates applicable data-protection laws (including the Privacy Act 1988 (AU), GDPR, or CCPA).
- Use recordings to train competing AI models or for purposes not disclosed to callers.
2.4 Platform abuse
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary components of the platform.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service or its infrastructure without written authorisation.
- Introduce malware, denial-of-service attacks, or other disruptive code.
- Exceed usage limits or circumvent rate-limiting controls.
- Resell or sublicense the Service to third parties without a written reseller agreement with us.
2.5 Spam and unsolicited contact
- Place calls or send SMS messages to numbers on any applicable Do Not Call register unless a valid exemption applies.
- Send bulk unsolicited promotional messages using any Service feature.
- Harvest contact information from third-party sources in violation of those sources' terms of service.
3. Responsibilities for Compliance
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations in every jurisdiction where your agents make or receive calls. This includes (without limitation):
- Obtaining all required consents before recording calls.
- Maintaining and honouring your own Do Not Call and opt-out lists.
- Providing required disclosures to callers (e.g. "this call may be recorded").
- Complying with industry-specific rules applicable to your sector (financial services, health, legal, real estate, etc.).
We provide tools (such as configurable recording notices and consent-capture flows) to assist compliance, but these tools do not constitute legal advice and do not guarantee compliance in your jurisdiction.
4. Our Rights
We reserve the right to:
- Monitor usage for compliance with this AUP (automated and manual).
- Suspend or terminate access immediately where we reasonably believe a violation has occurred or is imminent.
- Cooperate with law-enforcement authorities and disclose information about your account where required by law.
- Update this AUP at any time; continued use of the Service after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.

If you believe the Service is being used in violation of this AUP, please contact us at hello@audelo.ai with as much detail as possible. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
